Rust Sales Skyrocket

I'm sure any of you reading these articles have heard of the infamous Garry's Mod. The biggest sandcastle in the PC gaming world that been available for nearly 9 years and was produced by the famous Garry Newman. However, GMod seems that its going to eventually be beaten out by a new open world survival game. And I'm not talking about DayZ.

The new survival game Rust has had sales skyrocket over the past month, it's actually earned 55% of the profit that GMod has earned in the past 9 years. Garry Newman himself told the public using his Twitter feed that "We never, ever expected anything to dwarf GMod's success". It really is hard to believe that this relatively new Early Access game is making all this money and outshining its new rival, DayZ.

So, do you guys think Rust is good enough to hold its crowning position at the top of the Steam sales charts?
